Stay cosy and warm on your balcony, with infrared heaters

Thanks to short-wave infrared heat, our balcony heaters offer immediate, intensive heat in cold outdoor temperatures, without the need for preheating. Short-wave infrared radiates heat into the body/object with the fastest and deepest depth of penetration. In contrast to medium-wave radiators or gas-powered heating mushrooms, none of the radiated heat is lost due to air circulation or the rising of the warm air.

Calculation heating requirements for your balcony

When calculating the required heat output for your balcony, we make a distinction between wind-protected and windy balconies.

A : A protected balcony is protected from the wind, e.g. by side walls or a balcony roof
B : An unprotected balcony is located on the weather side of the property, and has no wind protection

Calculation, Variation A

RELAX GLASS Heater:
calculate, based on a requirement of 350-400 Watt per square metre

TERM2000:
calculate, based on 250-300 Watt per square metre

Calculation, Variation B

RELAX GLASS Heater:
calculate, based on a requirement of 500 Watt per square metre

Balcony heaters: Installation and control units

Installation

Balcony heaters are equipped with wall mounting brackets. However, they can also be installed in the ceiling of the balcony with frames for a flush-mounted ceiling installation, like RELAX GLASS.

Control units

For heaters with an output from 2,000 Watts, we recommend control units to regulate the heat output according to your individual requirements.
